Message #12

Lately we have been thinking of a topic. There have been many different messages, but they all relate. We have been trying to think of something unique; somehting that hasn't been tackled on that much. For me, I'm going to share a thought that I do at times...
Have you ever LOOKED at something. Sure you saw it, but did you LOOK? For example, a piece of paper. The next time you crumple a piece of paper, see its value. It was once a living tree that produced air for you to breath. It is now being crumpled, thrown out, and forgotton. That piece of paper DID, believe it or not, take time to make. People work hard to make paper. SO GO AHEAD! WASTE IT! Just before you do, promise me that you will SEE its value.
You don't always have to see value in man-made objects. You can look at natural things. For example, snow. During the winter, a small snowflake flutters down on your eyelash. So you brush it away. That snowflake will NEVER form again. It is a different snowflake. It is unique. It is a special snowflake. Do you ever look at a snowflake's divine appearence? It is amazing, let me tell you. Each aspect is carved magnificantly. When you look at a snowflake, do you ever look around at the tornados of snow swirling around, and think "Each one of these MILLIONS of snowflakes are different!" I do. When I hold a new flake on my finger tips and see it's quality, it is worth it. Even though it melts away and disapears from the Earth in seconds, it is worth seeing that one special snowflake.
Each one of you is special too, you know. You each are different and unique, like a snowflake, or a piece of paper. Sometimes we don't see that that person, is a person too. That that person has challenges in life and you should support that person. No one sees that as much anymore. Why? Is it because you are 'popular'? Or 'have better things to do'? What is better than helping someone and seeing that smile of their light up on their face. Even if they don't smile, YOU will know that you did something nice to them.
Look at things differently with more concern. It could be a 'pointless' ant, or 'just a' car. It IS something. It makes the world go round. It MAKES this world.
